Functional Anatomy for Strength Seminar

This limited course is the best strength anatomy course available!!!

Whether you are a coach, an athlete, beginner, advanced, male or female, this 2-day course will teach you the techniques and functional anatomy that Sebastian and Andrew use for themselves and their athletes to lift as safely and efficiently as possible.

Starting in the gym (Day 1), this hands-on approach will take you through the biomechanics and techniques of the three big lifts (bench press, squat, and deadlift).

On Day 2, you will be joined by renowned medical science educators, Dr Mike Todorovic and Dr Matt Barton, who will take you through the functional anatomy (musculature, osteology, and connective tissue) of each lift using human specimens in Griffith University’s A-Class Anatomy Labs on the Gold Coast.

This course is limited to 50 participants.

On completion of this course you will have addressed the following learning outcomes;

  • Identify and employ specific techniques and important cues associated with the bench press, squat, and deadlift.
  • Identify relevant musculoskeletal anatomy of deadlift, back squat, and bench press.
  • Provide an understanding of the functional implications of muscle recruitment at different phases of each movement.
  • Identify safe ranges of movement and common injury sites for each movement.
